I've never seen it, but from your stills it looks like people are being attacked by various colours. These killer colours however are able to be isolated in beakers and flasks by a crack time of scientists in the third to last slide. They are then fired into space and the planet is saved! |

I recall Edward G. Robinson's 'Sol' character with some fondness as an old school devotee of Mother Nature at her most natural. An excellent exercise in Paranoia and Phil Kaufman done us proud with this remake. Quote:
I also love that line in the ever-popular sequel: "At the roar of an engine he lost everything." How hot is Jenny Agutter in this movie?! Who can forget that smug smile on Yul Brynner's face when Richard Benjamin realises to his horror the former isn't shooting blanks anymore! Also, how about Michael Crichton's The Terminal Man starring George Segal?

No, only a DVD-R issue as part of the Warner Archive collection in the States and i used to own the old widescreen VHS version back in the '90s. A decent film from what i recall.

Those scenes in Logan's Run where those people are floating around in that revolving arena getting zapped while the crowds cheer really freaked me out as a youngster watching this for the first time, and as Splatterdragon says, Jenny Agutter is gorgeous in this.
