Sleeper (1973)
Sleeper (1973) I always preferred Woody Allens earlier films,Bananas,Take the Money and Run,Play It Again, Sam and Love and Death, were all fun and silly and Sleeer is no exception, and a funny Sci fi flick, not to many of those, well not intentionally, lest we forget the laugh riot that is Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. I every time I see Woody Allen I instantly think of McBain's impression of him on The Simpsons: 'I'm a neurotic nerd who sleeps with little girls' |

The Black Hole (1979)
The Black Hole (1979). With an all star cast,Maximilian Schell,Anthony Perkins,Robert Forster(looking very young),Joseph Bottoms,Yvette Mimieux and Ernest Borgnine, and borrowing from every Sci fi film before it,2001,Star Wars and Silent Running, this is Disney at its best, when its not animating mice. |
