I always find myself coming back to these films, love the style and creative vision of so many of them. THX 1138, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Phase IV, Andromeda Strain, Punishment Park, Westworld....I have a Sci-fi Movies book from the late 70s, published by Octopus and I've systematically worked my way through it several times trying to find similar gems!

The book wouldn't be Alan Frank's Sci-Fi Now would it?

It's 'The Movie Treasury: Science Fiction Movies' by Philip Strick, published 1976. Had it since I was about 12 and it continues to delight!

So many great pictures that captured the imagination of my young self - Logan's Run, The Omega Man and Slaughterhouse-5, i'm thinking of you.
