Am I the only person who actually likes - not in a "so bad it's good" way, but actually likes - Lifeforce then?

I have never understood the critical mauling it received nor that it hasn't been re-appraised in the years since.

It's a fantastic tongue-in-cheek rendering of a fantastic tongue-in-cheek book with some great performances and excellent scenes of mayhem in London at the end. It also features the stunning and beautiful spectacle of Mathilda May naked - at the time she had the perfect female human body!

I genuinely do like the film and am mystified by the reaction of others.

no dude your not the only one, i love the film, apart from poltigueist its the only Tobe Hooper film i can watch, i love the whole space vampires story and steve Railsback kicks all kinds of ass in this film.

I thought Lifeforce was ridiculous fun and a darn sight more entertaining than many blockbusters I could mention.
