More sad news.

Helen Noonan who played Wentworth's very own receptionist Wendy passed away on July 1st aged 68.

In addition to acting, she was also an accomplished opera singer.

Alethea McGrath RIP

Alethea who played Dot Farrah in the 1984 season of Prisoner sadly passed away in Australia yesterday, aged 96.

Sorry to report that Lois Ramsey who played social worker, Agnes Forster and later inmate Ettie Parslow sadly passed away in Australia on Friday.

Agree with you that it's eminently watchable so far but I personally think it lacks the campness and star quality that the original Prisoner had.

Personally I think the NEW episodes which air on E4, Thursdays at 8pm are just as good and funny as anything that's gone before them.

Also, the current season is winning record ratings in the US...

The Brian Lowe episodes and the exploding building in which he is holding Meg and Ann would have been far more apt IMO.
