Agreed and once comedy intruded on the carnage then that's when fans saw the writing on the wall for the franchise imo. Too many guffaws glossing over the gore especially so in AOD.:tsk:

I second that. I just hope PC-powered FX don't totally dominate the onscreen horror when some of the trusty old techniques may still be perfectly acceptable for use.:)
