That's more than reasonable. It is annoying that there is no UK Blu-ray release and importing will cost £17+ P&P and import duty.

I'll probably buy the DVD and see how much I like it before...

I'm exactly the same, apart from the growing up...

I'm exactly the same, apart from the growing up on sci-fi books, films, and TV shows. The first films I really got into were horror ones, and then sci-fi later.

I like the idea behind the artwork, but it seems like a cynical excuse to flog DVDs simply for new artwork. I would happily buy some of them if they were posters, but not DVDs.

As it was passed uncut, I hope it wasn't precut before being put before the BBFC. Anyway, for a film like that, what would be the point of releasing a cut version?
