It is. I've just checked it again in my Region A Blu-ray player and there are no problems with playback on the film or any of the extra features.

In that case, I can only imagine the stock has been held up because of the fire at the Sony warehouse. My Cannibal Holocaust DVD took quite a while to be dispatched by HMV.

That makes things much clearer so, although it may sound strange, I imagine licensing agreements are pretty hard to negotiate which will account for the differences between the DVD and BD releases.
