It's a strange one. I'd never heard of the word and I think I'm above average on colonial history.

Without specifically saying why on the box the film is a PG are they expecting parents to watch...

I have to say that I've actually witnessed my own niece traumatised by this movie. Not from the violence, mind you, but by the devatastingly sad ending. She was inconsolable for a whole day.
