I completely forgot that the Shameless version of NYR was non-anamorphic widescreen. Thank god for the Blue Underground dvd and blu-ray and the upcoming Shameless blu-ray.

Yay! Finally my set has been delivered from HMV. First thing I did was reverse the artwork for NYR. :dance:

I think a lot of it is to do with the music and...

I think a lot of it is to do with the music and sound. I hate it if you happen to be watching something that's been cut and the sound changes abruptly because of the sloppy editing.

Even though it will be nice to have the booklet and the box, the main reason I bought it was for the reversible cover on NYR.

Since I already have the individual releases and have been telling myself I don't need this, I broke down and ordered the boxset from HMV. Hopefully get it for the weekend.
