Of course people cares about artwork. Example, when i received my Shameless DVD of What Have They Done...? i had to close my eyes, unseal it and change to the reverse. After that it was safe too look at it again. It's so damn ugly it makes me sick.
Beyond72 and unrealbe like this.

Do people still care about artwork? Well, obviously, yes.

Do I care about artwork? Well, no. Sorry. That is to say, a release of a film I badly wanted that had bad artwork wouldn't put me off buying it. It's the film I want, primarily. Artwork is a secondary concern.

I agree with Dae to the extent that I will happily buy a film that I want, no matter what the artwork is like. The film is the priority after all. However, if there are multiple versions of a film out there I'll always try to go for the one with the best artwork and packaging, even if it means spending more money to do so.

I'll also double dip for great artwork if the film is a personal favourite, although I'm trying to curb this nasty habit a bit.

I'm nowhere near as bad as I used to be, though! I've even sold off a lot of my duplicate editions.

I can be a sucker for artwork. I had the Arrow City of the Living Dead but double dipped when I found a beautiful looking Blue Underground dvd. Though to be fair the dvd was only $4 new.

Like most I care about the artwork. If I want the movie its not going to not make me buy it but it might not get the greatest place of display in the house

Hide that ****er away
