I'm in the same boat.

Even though the release could have featured more extra features (a commentary, perhaps), Cannibal Holocaust was the best release of the year due to the minimal cuts demanded by the BBFC banned the excellent HD picture.

The Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh was a film I'd been looking forward to for a long time and this highly affordable release was cause for celebration. Also, Almost Human was a fine release which introduced me to the polizzioteschi, which I followed up by watching the Fernando Di Leo Crime Collection (another fantastic set which I intend to buy it again, this time on BD).

Cannibal Holocaust, easy choice. Almost Human is a close second for me. CH could be the best Shameless title since they began, besides the Bronx Warriors tin of course.
