I think FEROX or EATEN ALIVE are big enough titles to sell on the hype of a Holocaust remake,/ companion piece.
I think even without the new Holocaust hype ithey would sell well as most of the animal scenes are no where near as strong as Holocaust's, Ferox went more for human violence to shock so a restored Ferox minus the animal scenes that are currently removed would still be a nasty must see for the casual film buyer. And a nice little earner for Shameless. As would EATEN ALIVE .

There are also a new generation of horror / exploitation fans who would buy as well as alot of people dont import and the 20 quid , butchered VIPCO version is all thats there for them.

If you could get some cuts waived in Holocaust then seriously look into it but also look into FEROX or EATEN ALIVE.

These 3 titles are still stocked by all the major out lets along with ISOYG and sell well. A shop owner tried to get me to part with my dvd of VIPCO's first release of Holocaust as I have both VIPCO releases but I held on to it and I would buy any cannibal film Shameless released.
Gothmogxx likes this.

Most of the cuts in HOLOCAUST were to the sexual violence.

That, plus the animal cuts, would make it extremely difficult to pass even now. Maybe around a minute or so could possibly be restored with clever editing but I just can't see a new release being much different from the above one.

I'm working on something else, Obi Strips for DVDs
I thought about maybe making new covers for dvds but never got round to it because of all the design involved, then I thought I only need to do the sides and slip them in over the existing covers and there, great display.

But my design is a bit different to the Shameless DVDs although it would be quite easy to make obi strips to go over dvds to make them fit in(after the original 20).

Maybe I should make some for Italian films not going to be released on Shameless, while doing the others like this.

Well I had a go at shameless style ones with the titles I'd already prepared.

Almost there, not got the yellow and red quite right or the spaces between lines.
