Been interested in seeing this film since I first read about it, great work Shameless.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 11th November 2010 03:01 PM

I'm a bit like that as a while ago I had a list of gialli that I wanted to buy and there were a few on there that were just not available or would cost a small fortune to buy including The Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh so I'm delighted that Shameless are releasing this title.

bdc 3rd December 2010 07:17 PM

Has work started on this one yet? ;)

I need me some Shameless goodness!

Sarah@Cult Labs 6th December 2010 06:51 PM

Argentofan 6th December 2010 06:52 PM

Really looking forward to this release. Any more new Giallo for 2011? ;)

I shall do exactly that. It's great to see Shameless back releasing gialli, even though I really liked the last few Euro sleaze films.

mazon2709 22nd December 2010 10:53 AM

Blu would be nice as I already have a dvd of this.

Due to the spine number, that isn't going to happen any time soon but, if the DVD sells well, I wouldn't rule out a BD.

mazon2709 22nd December 2010 11:30 AM

You can put whatever spine number on, I would still snap it up quick on Blu:). On dvd I don't think I'll bother cos the copy I have is really good.

slaghammer 28th December 2010 11:34 AM

This film is a bloody masterpiece, overjoyed it's finally getting a proper UK release!

jamesg 29th December 2010 10:07 AM

Title « British Board of Film Classification

Sarah@Cult Labs 8th February 2011 12:46 PM

Yup, I can confirm that this will be released uncut with an 18 certificate!

Oh, and it will include Italian audio (with English subs) as well as English audio...

Andydn 8th February 2011 05:13 PM

Best giallo ever

This film is tied first place with Tenebre for best Giallo ever made in my eyes. If you havent seen it yet then shame on you (or shameless on you should I say), but then again you have a right treat instore when you do watch it. Superb looking film, very stylish, Edwidge is in it of course - you simply cannot go wrong!

You mean the reverse?

Sarah@Cult Labs 9th February 2011 10:17 AM

The release date for The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh has been pushed back two weeks to 28 March 2011.

Don't worry, though, it's all in aid of making Ms. Fenech look extra-gorgeous!

Is that actually possible? Could she really get any more gorgeous?

Jonny 10th February 2011 11:02 AM

For those interested in Edwige there's an interview with her on my site taken from a copy of Cinema X magazine published in 1970. In the interview she mentions just finishing making Mrs Wardh.

Contains images that should be considered be NSFW...
