This is purely from just a spot comparison between the NTSC disc and the Shameless release, but it looks like it was probably the same or a similar SD transfer to the one used on the PAL NoShame disc that was converted for the NTSC releases. A damned shame (pun not intended) that an HD transfer is considered out of the question with the kind of sales figures this title attracts, being one of the best 'true' giallos out there but also much less well-known as a grindhouse mainstay, wasn't on any video nasty list, etc.
