Here's a scan of the back cover for full info.

If you only have the dvd set, I can't recommend this enough. Apparently, the only episode they weren't able to restore to HD was the first one. Otherwise they look stunning. Believe me, you've never seen them like this before!

I love The Sweeney and Dennis Waterman-era Minder. I'm not such a fan of The Professionals, love the opening theme and credits though. :D

Sweeney 2

With 70s coming to an end,and the tv series ending, the last hurrah for Regan and Carter were the two movies.Like most TV series/movie crossovers it does lose something in the transfer, the series was a tightly scripted barrage of 70s geezer fun, helped no end by the chemistry of its two leads. The films just feel like there trying to hard, and the often violent bloodshed of the 2nd film seems to be a vain attempt at keeping up with the times. But saying that theres still plenty to enjoy , John Thaw and Dennis Waterman are just perfect in there roles.

When those silly bicycles stop pottering around France I hope ITV4 goes back to showing The Sweeney in the afternoon (inappropriate time slot alert:))

Saw Sweeney 2 in the cinema, so have fond memories of it, but Ron is pretty much spot on, the series is where the real fun is to be had, Guv.
