That's very true. *pedantic head on*, an oxymoron is something that contains a contradiction. Sorry for being so boring.

I used to enjoy it but have tired of it recently and agree that the NEW episodes just aren't as good.

It's probably gone on for a couple of seasons too long IMO so, probably just as well that the current season will be its last.

My HIMYM fatigue might also have something to do with the same episodes being repeated endlessly on E4.

Personally, I regard The Big Bang Theory as being an eminently superior sitcom. I could NEVER imagine myself tiring of that programme.

Also, Rules of Engagement - another American sitcom has been AXED.

I like Rules of Engagement too, I didn't know it had been axed, damn shame

Yep, more a tautology than anything else.

I do hope they call it a day soon though, a few more seasons of Big Bang is enough I think, it'll wear itself out before the fan base does.

Each episode still makes me laugh, not many comedies can do that so as long as that happens, I'm quite happy to carry on watching and buying the box sets

I've found the most recent series to be less funny than usualy, and the one before that is the same. It's certainly wearing down, but it was so good in the first place it's gonna take a while to become truely dire.

Personally I think the NEW episodes which air on E4, Thursdays at 8pm are just as good and funny as anything that's gone before them.

Also, the current season is winning record ratings in the US so, don't expect to see Big Bang disappear from your screens anytime soon.

It amazes me how the writers manage to keep the standard so high
