Dark Side Of The Ring: XPW

Finally managed to watch this episode from season 3, porn mogul Rob Zicari (aka Rob Black)owned and ran XPW that was ECW turned up more with his wife Lizzi Borden. He ran his porn industry from a warehouse that also housed his wrestling. Former actors and actresses who were involved in both business discuss how the wrestling was operated including New Jack who wrestled Vic Grimes in their infamous scaffolding match and wrestler William Welch was known as The Messiah who was attacked in his own home and had his thumb was cut off, many wrestlers knew who orchastrated the attack after Welch announced his fling with Zacari's wife.

In April 2003, the premises of Extreme Associates were raided by federal agents. Zicari, his then wife Lizzy Borden and his company were indicted for distributing obscene pornographic materials, after a lengthy battle both were sentenced to 1 year and a day in prison.

The daily card for Wrestlemania 39 has been announced:

Day 1 - April 1st:
  • Singles match for the WWE United States Championship - Austin Theory vs. John Cena
  • Singles match - Seth 'Freakin' Rollins vs. Logan Paul
  • Six woman tag team match - Trish Stratus, Lita, and Becky Lynch vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky)
  • Men's WrestleMania Showcase fatal four-way tag team match - Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (with Valhalla)
  • Singles match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship - Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley
  • Tag team match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship - The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
  • Singles match - Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio

Day 2 - April 2nd
  • Triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship - Gunther vs. Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Hell In A Cell - Edge vs. 'The Demon' Finn Balor
  • Women's WrestleMania Showcase fatal four-way tag team match - Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Natalya and Shotzi vs. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler vs. Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville
  • Singles match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship - Bianca Belair vs. Asuka
  • Singles match - Brock Lesnar vs. Omos (with MVP)
  • Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Universal - Roman Reigns (with Paul Heyman) vs. Cody Rhodes

As it stands, there is not a lot of interest for me - the return of Cena, Trish and Lita, the Mysterios and the Hell in a Cell should be great matches, but as for the others...

Robert 'Butch' Miller, one half of The Bushwackers, has died, aged 78

They were always good for a laugh

Before they were the family-friendly Bushwackers, they were the ultra-hardcore Sheepherders
