Perused the documentary Andre The Giant, which I would recommend to anyone who frequents this thread. Biopic of a large man in a small world.

Blimey! Today is a black day for wrestling, with the deaths of 3 well known participants of the squared circle Nikolai Volkoff, who wrestled for the WWWF and WWF in various stints between 1968 - 1995 has died after being released from a hospital in Maryland where he had been treated for dehydration. He was 70  Brickhouse Brown, who fought for the Championship Wrestling Association between 1982 - 1997 has died from prostate cancer. He was 57  Brian Christopher, who wrestled for the WWF as Grandmaster Sexay in the tag team Too Cool during the late '90's, has died. The Wrestling Observers' Dave Melter has confirmed that he was rushed to hospital after hanging himself in jail where he was being held for DUI offenses

WWE: Renee Young to be first female commentator on Raw | BBC news "WWE have announced Renee Young will become the first woman to commentate on an entire episode of Monday Night Raw. Young will appear alongside regular commentators Corey Graves and Michael Cole for WWE's flagship television programme on 13 August, with Jonathan Coachman absent. Although women have commentated on single matches in the past, this is the first time in the 25-year history of Monday Night Raw a woman will provide commentary for the full three-hour broadcast."

It's been announced that D-Generation X are to be inducted into the 2019 WWE Hall Of Fame They were one of the leading factions of the Attitude Era, and are credited as having "pushed the envelope as to what was accepted on TV".
