"Bobby Lashley suffered a nasty fall at a house show in the UK on Thursday [April 26, 2022] after the top rope broke loose during a match.

The All Mighty collided with Drew McIntyre at the event, which was held at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, England. It was the first show of WWE’s 2022 European Spring Tour, which included stars from both RAW and SmackDown.

Lashley and McIntyre were seemingly setting up a spot for the Claymore when the top rope snapped after the former connected with it, causing him to stumble out of the ring.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn was at ringside, as he is currently involved in a storyline with The Scottish Warrior. A fan who attended the show stated that Bobby Lashley wasn't injured and was able to continue the match."

The results from WrestleMania Backlash 2022

SPOILER:
  • Cody Rhodes def. Seth Rollins via pinfall
  • Omos [with MVP] def. Bobby Lashley via pinfall
  • Edge def. AJ Styles via Technical Submission
  • 'I Quit' match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship: Ronda Rousey def. Charlotte Flair to become the new champion [It's being reported that Charlotte suffered from a broken radius during the match. Whether this is fact or kayfabe remains to be seen!]
  • Madcap Moss def. Happy Corbin via pinfall
  • Six Man Tag Team Match: The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) def. Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle)

Containing four rematches from last months WrestleMania event, the general consensus is that quality of the matches at 'Backlash' exceeded those of the previous PPV

The next WWE PPV is due to be 'Hell In A Cell', which is going to be held on June 5

Seaham Conservative Club wrestling 'death match' event probed by police / BBC News

"...A violent "death match" wrestling event which was staged in front of families is being investigated by police.

The show at the Conservative Club in Seaham, County Durham, on 29 April saw blood-soaked performers attack each other with a garden strimmer and glass.

The Colliery Championship Wrestling (CCW) event did not advertise it would be a so-called death match and had offered discounted family tickets.

James Barrass of CCW apologised but said the audience had enjoyed it..."

I bet the kids in the audience loved it!

Both Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of RAW yesterday

They had been booked to appear in the programmes main event 'six-pack challenge to determine the #1 contender for the RAW Women’s Championship' (which Naomi should have won) when Sasha had a meeting with Vince regarding creative ideas. The result of the meeting was that the two girls left the building!

He is the one that signs the cheques, but at times he needs to listen to the ones that help bring him the money and not his cronies.
