No offence but the American version of The Office is pathetic. It's like any other unfunny American comedy except set in an office. Everything that was fresh, original and funny about the UK one was lost in translation when they made the US one.

Favourite comedies:

The Office
Men Behaving Badly
Extras
Father Ted
Mr. Bean
Da Ali G Show
One Foot In The Grave
Bottom
Love Thy Neighbour
People's Court (UK)
Under The Moon

and to a lesser degree:

Goodness Gracious Me (got a bit repetitive after a bit)
The Simpsons
South Park
Peep Show
Balls Of Steel
Trigger Happy TV
Batman ('60s TV series)
On The Buses
The Osbournes
Beavis & Butthead
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace

And very little stand-up comedy:

Bernard Manning
Roy Chubby Brown

I liked Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, but I'm glad it only ran for one series. It gave it a total cult status that way.

Yeah Darkplace was so unbelievably daft I couldn't help but like it. The "Scotch Mist" episode .

I've added Mr. Bean, Bernard Manning and Roy Chubby Brown. How could I forget those?!

Super Happy

I'm very much a fan of gloriously un-PC '70s and '80s programming so here goes:

Minder
Porridge
Rising Damp
On The Buses
Steptoe & Son
Home To Roost
Only When I Laugh
Auf Weidersehen, Pet
Only Fools And Horses
Are You Being Served?
Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em

Please feel free to laugh at some of my choices if you like!

My all time favorite that I could watch again and again is Mr. Bean. Only wished there were more episodes made
