I need to watch the whole series before I decide if it's a top 5 series. Its certainly very freaking good.

I've seen the Kolchak film and thought it was pretty good, but have never seen any of the series. I'll have to try and check it out at some point.

If i was to make a separate list for live action/ western series and anime it would go...

Western:

1) Quatermass and the Pit
2) Doctor Who
3) Breaking Bad
4) Batman TAS
5) Boardwalk Empire

Anime:

1) Cowboy Bebop
2) Evangelion
3) Revolutionary Girl Utena
4) Death Note
5) Baccano!

This is naturaly conditional to frequent change!
Well the new slayers are not as good perhaps but the story's all interlink. The first three were and still are absolute classics of the fantasy genre in anime.

Glad to see someone else here rates millennium. I'm probably in the minority with this viewpoint but I preferred it to the x-files.

Also nice to see Hammers TV shows getting a mention. I really rate tales of mystery and suspense.

I could probably do a Top 20, but anything past that and I'd be struggling.
