Completed watching all of the episodes of The Prisoner (1967) Blu Ray, I can honestly say this series is one of the very best I have seen and if any of the good members on here do not as yet have it in their collection please include it as soon as you can. Way ahead of its time and riveting, some of the episodes are a bit out there but fantastic none the less. 10/10. and here is a little taster....by the way the PQ is stunning," be seeing you " :

My mother used to always talk about The Prisoner she loved it when it originally aired on tv might pick this up for her i had no idea it was on Blu Ray.

A few years ago there was a Prisoner set that came out every two weeks with an episode and a magazine i used to collect but my local news agents stopped getting it so i never made it to the end.I loved what i had seen of it.

I've wanted to see this for years, but I've still not managed to get the blu-ray set. Also there's a million other things I need to watch.... so I'll join the discussion in the next 10-40 years.

I've got this collection, have all the magazines in a file.
Always loved this series, saw it on tv ages ago must have been early 90's as i think i was about 15,definitely in my top five tv drama series of all time.
There was a remake but from what i saw of it it looked pants.
They showed the original about a year ago on a freeview channel.

I actually visited Portmeirion in Wales about 18 years ago, where they filmed the village scenes, it's a totally mental place where there's a really bizarre mix of architecture. A lot of it looked the same as in the series still, the gift shop is in no.6's house.
Also you could take a walk to the seafront and i imagined a big white ball bouncing across the sand.
