Default Favourite show within a show?

Which of these TV shows, which the characters normally watch and don't work on or form the direction of the show (discounting something like FYI from Murphy Brown and 30 Rock's The Girlie Show) is your favourites, and you wish was real?

I have not seen 30 Rock nor the show but how could anyone not vote for something called MILF Island?

True.

I didn't even know there was a V For Vendetta tv show.

It's a crucial part of one of the episodes in the second series, with Liz Lemon despairing at NBC's content, but just about everyone else involved on The Girlie Show, glued to the (fictional) reality show. It's actually quite a clever satire on the barrel scraping nature of some 'reality' TV shows.

Boo Radley likes this.

Neither did I until I looked around on the Internet, but it is a horrendously racist show featured in the graphic novel.

I was torn between Itchy & Scratchy, which I would definitely tune in to, Sick Sad World, which I always found really funny, and Invitation to Love, the brilliantly cheesy soap opera from Twin Peaks, but also forms part of the narrative. In the end, I went for the latter because I David Lynch, think it would be great escapism and the key part Invitation to Love plays in Twin Peaks.

I've not seen most of the shows listed, however I'm tempted to vote for 'The Scary Door' Twilight Zone rip-off from Futurama, just because it always makes me laugh.

I love The Scary Door in the short introductory sequences, but don't think I could watch it as a TV show because I'd always compare to The Twilight Zone, which is an all-time classic.
