I've just finished this book funny enough, and now it's being made into a TV series which is coming out over the summer in America. Stephen King's Mr Mercedes. It's not a horror book it's more a thriller/police procedural story about a guy who gets away with killing a load of people by driving a Mercedes into a queue of unemployed waiting for a job fair to open, he then decides to torment the retired police officer who was in charge of the case. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they've done this, and I'm glad that it's going to be a series rather than a film!

Seriously!

This won't get shown over here. They had to cut last weeks Doctor Who episode because it mentioned terrorism

Well it certainly wont get shown on the main 5... It has a subplot about using a suicide bomb in a kids concert actually, I was reading it the day after what happened in Manchester and I felt pretty uncomfortable reading it. It's definitely close to the bone for UK people.

I've got it sat on my bedside table, borrowed from the library and haven't read a single word yet, I've already renewed it twice

It's a fast paced cat and mouse type thriller you'll read it in no time once you start! Unintended poor taste aside...

Yeah, that usually happens with Stephen King. I've had 4 new students start this last couple of weeks so I've been too busy planning lessons to read for pleasure
