Default Cult Children's TV

Apologies if there is already a thread for this, I could not find anything. I'm a huge fan of 70s kids TV series with hint of supernatural and mystery, The Owl Service, Children of the Stones, Sky and Raven. Great drama, excellent writing and particularly dark themes, especially as they were aimed at children. I can't imagine anything of their like being made today, which is a shame. I was born in 1980 so I didn't see them firsthand, but series like The Tripods really captured my imagination in a similar way. Any more fans out there, and what else can you recommend from this era?

Yes, same here, there are a few of us on here with similar tastes. Plus a few fanatics of most things Network release. Have you tried the Dramarama Spooky set? or Beasts (not exactly for kids but definitely worth a watch).

It is, they had some straight forward dramas but there is a release of the spooky episodes. I'd just say keep an eye on the Network sales and stock up most of the stuff they release is ace.

Go on then. (This should probably be in the Network thread but here will do).

I have -

Thriller
Tales of the Unexpected
Into the Labyrinth
Kinvig
Beasts
Mystery and Imagination
Children of the Stones
The Owl Service
The Clifton House Mystery

(Sky is in the basket for the next sale.)

What else am i missing from the spooky, weird-y stuff?

There must be another label that releases stuff like this just not in the quantity that Network does, we may need to put our thinking caps on. My collection is too overwhelming to browse.

I'd add ACE OF WANDS, ESCAPE INTO NIGHT and THE CHANGES to that list

I didn't bother with that as the majority has been wiped.
