Anthony Perkins advertises Oatmeal Crisp breakfast cereal in 1990

Presumably this was a tie-in with the film 'Psycho IV: The Beginning' which starred him as Norman Bates and was released in the same year

Blimey! This ad for Pepsi, starring David Bowie and Tina Turner from 1985, must have cost a fortune!!

I imagine the 2004 ad with Beyonce, Pink and Britney Spears cost them a hell of a lot more even when you adjust the fees for inflation on the old ad.

Scary Lee Cooper advert from 1978, using zombie punks and Gary Numan / Tubeway Army to sell their jeans

The punks in the ad were real, who had answered an advert. Their glowing eyes were created with contact lenses that had been coated with chemicals, resulting in them becoming phosphorescence under UV light

I remember when this came out, talking about it at school as it had a great rock track to it and animation.

The original track is 'Remember' by Stevie Vann Lange.
