I trust Lynch to make an awesome sequel to Mulholland Drive, he's my favourite director without a doubt. Theres no film he's made that I dislike, although I do prefer some more than others.

I hope he revisits Twin Peaks at some point. He should go back to it when it reaches the amount of years that had passed when we saw old Dale Cooper in the Red Room. I forget how many years it was, but it's soon if I remember correctly.

I always thought Lynch meant Inland Empire to be a loose sequel to Mulholland Drive.

It would be nice to see him back in the director's chair where he belongs. Like you Line, I have loved all of Lynch's work up to now and would relish the thought of him making something else, especially if he returned to Twin Peaks. Though, there is a part of me that is worried that any revisit will spoil what is essentially a perfect series: Twin Peaks is my favourite TV series ever.

Apparently, a computer game (haven't a clue what it's called) is supposed to be coming out soon that is very similar in story and content to Twin Peaks. Whilst not really my thing, I thought I'd mention it in case anybody was interested.

I'm a big gamer and a Twin Peaks game, whether an actual spin-off or just loosely based, sounds very interesting. But it's one of those things that could be excellent or it could go the opposite way and be garbage. The same way that continuing the Twin Peaks series in any way could be either great and expand on an already amazing series or just ruin it and ruin it's legacy to an extent.

Thanks for the info though Bizarre.

Be interested to see a sequel to Mullholland Drive as still very confused over the first one

Yet to see Inland Empire but definitely on the list to watch soon.

I was always tempted to give Twin Peaks a whirl, but I can't make head nor tail of Lynch's other films,so that put me off....

Oh dear, I LOVED the series. I especially enjoyed the characters watching the fictional tv series which foreshadowed reality (to them). I also enjoyed the use of owls.

Twin Peaks is a lot more accessable and uinderstandable than Lynches film work (I love his films just have a hard time working out what they're all about). Its really really worth a try Reaps. I cant remeber the numer of times I've leant people the first season and within a few days they've coming begigng to have the second season. It really is that good.

I'm also a fan of Lynch. I found Inland Empire a bit hard going but then most people do. Mulholland Drive is a masterpiece and I'm surprised that most of it was already filmed for the proposed series pilot.

I'm waiting, as are most fans, for a definitive Twin Peaks movie release with all the deleted scenes restored. I doubt it will ever happen, but I keep my fingers crossed that it does.

I very much doubt that further TP productions will happen. IIRC Mark Frost had creative control over most of the Second series which might explain why the movie had little of the series spirit to it (and appearances from the characters). In a sense, didn't the story complete itself in the movie's final denouement?

However, Lynch has recorded greetings for TP conventions, so it's still on his mind.

I remember when I was hopelessly addicted to this show. Definitely enjoyed the first season more though.
