The Compendium editions are great and excellent value for money; over 1000 pages for about £25-£30.

I might ask for the novels for Christmas actually.

That's what I had in mind, to buy each of the 104 issues already out separately would cost a fortune. We have a small comic book store tucked away in Halifax that has them, I might pop down with some of my old unwanted comics and try for a trade

Would be difficult to get the first issues at a half decent price anyway.

Even the collected volumes would cost a lot more than the Compendium too

I was thinking that's not too bad really but it works out at about £6.70 per issued which is twice what they'd cost originally.

A near-perfect 9.9 rated copy of issue one went on eBay recently for $1825.

(actually, looking at how much ungraded copies go for that 1-52 sale might not be too bad after all!)
Rik likes this.

I've got the 2nd Compendium on my Christmas List but I'm gonna have to add the two novels too as it's about time I picked up a book and read something. It's been years already.

Yea walking Dead is very entertaining, but I prefer Zombies that have a little bit of social commentary Like George A Romero's Zombies, now zombies are fast , people want to be zombies, act like Zombies I don't know is kind of stupid when you think about it.

I know. Monday Night was Walking Dead night at Casa PaulD. This is the first time I have watched a season as it's been broadcast so I'm not used to the gap

I have the 16 or 17 volumes of the graphic novels that have been released so far and they are quite cheap to buy from amazon etc. I have the Rise of the Governor book but only just started reading it.
