That's quite a formidable statement about a show that doesn't involve Daleks, zombies, Gemma Teller, Vic Mackie, Londo Mollari or Cordelia Chase.

That's it! Plus, Glenn's car in season 1 is the car Walter bought for Walt Jr, and Daryl and Merle's description of their drug dealer could be Jesse Pinkman.

Other than Daleks and zombies I'm lost?
Edit...just did some googling
Never seen Sons of Anarchy, doesn't look my cup of tea.
Buffy was ok but went on far too long.
And as for daleks and zombies well Dr Who is hit and miss at best and zombies on tv there's only really the Walking Dead which hasn't been great since the first series.

I think this season, in general, has been very good, but last night's finale was pretty poor in my opinion. Manipulative in a very cheap way, unnecessarily bloated and eye-rollingly contrived. That said, there were moments that were full of tension and it was actually quite creepy at times.

Negan's introduction was well done, although at odds with how amateurish the rest of the saviours seem. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has gravitas and charisma in spades, a brilliant bit of casting.

I'll watch it again this evening, hopefully I'll appreciate it more the second time.

Just finished watching it, they absolutely nailed Negan, as a big fan of him in the comics, I'm so happy they got him right!

This might sound a strange grumble and in a way it is but when i'm trying to time things you might understand.

I like watching tv dramas like Walking Dead last thing at night. Knowing an episode lasts forty minutes as they usually do i can normally figure out when to start watching a couple of episodes to finish by 1am as some days i don't have to get up until 8.30 - 9. Adding an extra 25 minutes on in these circumstances is really annoying.

Yeah, I get that. We usually watch it on the laptop on Monday mornings, without disturbance, so 40 mins is fine, however it's the Easter holidays, so Rachel's kids are off school, meaning we had to "banish" them upstairs to play while we watched it, so adding the extra 25 mins proved difficult to be able to watch it without them coming and disturbing

N.B Yes, we are selfish
