I love The X-Files. Esp the earlier seasons. The show did go a little daft towards the end! lol

I hear everyone involved wants to make another X-Files movie, well, everyone except the studio. I want To Believe was
pretty poor as an X-Files movie. Would've been more suited to Millennium.

Ive never seen X Files 2 but yeah I heard it was more of a standard thriller rather then X Files like.

Im glad they ended it when they did, rathen then doing a LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE and doing 31 seasons. I also heard that if the new X Files film did brilliant they were going to re boot the series and do a whole new lot

I would love to pick up a full series release on blu-ray however as the effects were edited on tape they would need to do a star trek next gen job for which they probably can't see a return of their investment

Until this happens I have the complete series dvd box set anyway.

I also bought the lone gunmen spin off but haven't watched any episodes of this yet. For anyone that's seen it, did anderson or duchovny ever make any appearances in the spin off?

I wasted most of my teen years watching The X-Files, possibly the best TV show I've seen... too many twists and turns in the end I think, went in too many directions and suffered for it. the big reveal at the end was a car crash as well

now, who liked Millennium?

i agree
the first X FILES film was excellent, esp as i was never really saw the series
but the sequel was a dud, slow, just boring and you would of thought they could of come up with a better script after so long
