Maybe some things should stay buried.

The second episode was better, imo. BUT, if anyone can't say the third episode, "Mulder and Scully meet The Were-Monster is brilliant, there's zero hope for them. Written by Darrin Morgan, it's funny from beginning to end, and ight up there with the best of the series. Full of references to prior episodes and little in-jokes. Even has one character dressed like Kolchak, which as we all know influenced the series, and McGavin appeared in both The X-Files & Millennium. That's another show I'd love to see return, and Carter says he has an idea for it. Apparently the ratings for The X-Files have been huge, so maybe Fox will do something with Millennium.

I watched the first two episodes back to back and LOOOOVVVEEEDDD it! I also had a big box of steaming hot pizza from dominoes which made my evening.

The thing with that magazine/web article is it's way to obvious to say 'The catchphrases are worn out..blah blah blah' opinions are like arseholes, everybody's got one and most of them stink....

This is a limited re run and it isn't hurting anyone in an age of subscription TV where you literally have more TV on offer to watch; than you have years on this planet, to enjoy.

I did notice they had a little bit of awkward acting in a few scenes but these guys are back and they are rocking my TV and that's better than them dying and leaving series 9 in the state it was in.

Guys I loved it!

oh and I agree about G.Anderson....

The first episode was a bit meh but vastly improved with the second and third episodes. The X files are back shame it looks like it's only 6 episodes. Gillian Anderson is so hot.

Yup! So haggard. Don't know why she bothers getting up in the morning.

This pic was from 14th Jan at a press launch.
