I didn't.

However, outside of the Batman films and a few other minor exceptions I'm not a fan of superhero films at all really.

Had a quick look at the batman tv series boxset. Fanatstic job has been done on the restoration bright vibrant colours and a great set. If you are a fan of the show you need to get this set

To be honest it's Christmas present so was only allowed to see if everything was there and the disc are ok. It's now been wrapped up for Xmas. It does sound expensive but it's well worth it for what you get and it works out less than a £1 a episode. Mind depending on sales it might go on sale around Christmas if it dosent do well. But can see the price will be do high for many, really should of been about £80 to attracted more people

Sounds like you have a cool Christmas coming up Trebor.

It's a shame it's not out on dvd as well. I did notice the complete Avengers set had halved in price. Still eighty odd quid though.

I'm sure there is a dvd version, that might be america only

Edit

Just checked there is a dvd version on amzon.com which is about $30 cheaper but dosent seem worth it as you don't get the cards or the bat mobile

Penelope Keith's Hidden Villages.

Enjoyable look at village life both now, and in the past, of villages in East Anglia and Essex. Keith is a delightful host in this quiet little gem of a series.

Looking forward to next weeks where she goes to the north of England, visiting Wycoller, where she used to live. Which is only a few minutes drive for me. Not that that has anything to do with it.

I'm currently half way through the second season of Californication.

A series that's perhaps better than the first. It delves into the sleazy worlds of rock n' roll excess and the porn business. Again the characterization is fantastic and the script is super crude.

As Stephen@Cult Labs once said - David Duchovny is Hank Moody. Mulder is no more.

Incidentally i'm sure Moody's daughter Becca, is the secret love child of MTDS and Nordy. Seeing as she wears Darkthrone t-shirts and quotes from The Satanic Bible.

Nordy would have to be the mum as he has long hair like a girl!
