I finished watching it a couple of nights ago and thought it was superb. Much grittier and more violent than a film version would be, even with the 'darker' DC comic book adaptations.

Last night, I watched the final episode of Better Call Saul, which was strange to begin with, but really hit its stride halfway through and ended up as a good, but not great, prequel to Breaking Bad (one of the finest TV shows ever made).

I'm one of the few that like the Affleck version of Daredevil but so far the new series is far superior.
As for Better Call Saul i watched the first episode and wasn't overly taken with it. But agree with you on Breaking Bad, probably my favourite TV show ever.

I also like the Marvel Daredevil film, but the TV show is miles better due to the extra time to develop characters and, without needing to tone things down for a 'family friendly' certificate, scenes can be more appropriately realistic, gritty and violent.

I was really unsure about Better Call Saul and I got about halfway through the series, so it's probably hard to judge from a single episode and worth watching until the end of the season when it all falls into place and links with Breaking Bad.

The film was cheesy. The show really benefits from a grittier tone.
I'll definitely go back to BCS. We've had Walking Dead and Fortitude on the go the past few weeks.

It's probably a show which benefits from being watched in a short space of time; I watched them over three or four days.

Currently 5 episodes into the first series of Arrow.

I'm quite impressed, it's shaping up nicely with some interesting story arcs.

Interestingly it's tone is very similar to the final three seasons of Smallville which also featured Oliver Queen. I also noticed a lot of recycled sets from that show and the Queen mansion is the same house as the Luther mansion.

He's not in it for a long time.

There's actually a British box set which compiles all his episodes. All 20 of them.

It just gets better and better. I couldn't stop watching it one night as I needed to know what was going to happen next and ended staying up most of the night watching it. I then overslept and was late for work the next day.
