Just finished 'Dominion'. I kind of had some hopes for this as I quite like the concept of Warrior Angels but to be honest it tried to hard! Set something like 25 years after the movie 'Legion' this sees the remnants of man holed up in wall cites. One such city called Vega is protected by the Archangel Michael whilst his Brother Gabriel wants to destroy man. Not very good to be honest.

and as one series came to an end I started another, 'Penny Dreadful'.....interesting.....I'l hold off on a judgement for this. Did quite like the ending of episode one though.

Been watching Man About The House (73-76) and am surprised how much I'm enjoying this series.

I did watch it many years ago but couldn't remember a great deal.
Refreshing that it's so simple and not politically correct in any way.

Been watching The strain

Awesome stuff. Guillermo del Toro's influence is all over the show, including slight nods to the vamps from Blade 2 and Cronos.

As he co-wrote the novel on which it's based, it should feel like del Toro's finger prints are all over it, but references to his other films are a pleasant surprise – I look forward to seeing it myself.

Been watching a lot of Workaholics recently. Anyone seen it. Really funny US comedy about 3 slackers who live and work together.

Wayward pines

Enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would, gripping and well acted and gotten better with each episode, just hope it doesn't fizzle out

Star Trek continues white iris

Another fantastic fan produced show that ranks it's the best of the TOS episodes, well acted, great story, and effects like the TOS never ended

I finished the second series of Bates Motel last night.

Superb performances all round especially Vera Farmiga as Norma and Freddie Highmore as Norman, who both portray characters you care for yet wish ill of at the same time, it's not an easy trick to pull off but they do it perfectly.

The larger story line of the drug war was perhaps even better than the Bates Motel family stuff, and hopefully more will come of it despite it being seemingly wrapped up.

In fact had the show ended with the final episode of this season it would have justifiably done so with everything wrapped up quite neatly and i would have been more than happy with the outcome of this excellent show.

The Season Three opener of Hannibal is superb, beautifully disturbing.
