That's surprising. Then again, haven't you also said the same thing about Doctor Who?

You're both right but, somehow, I've managed to miss both shows.

Have you never seen any of the films either, Star Trek or Dalek?

I've seen Star Trek: The Motion Picture, which is extremely dull, and The Wrath of Khan, which is better. I've also seen the recent Star Trek movies, which I've enjoyed.

I suppose starting from the beginning with Star Trek would be a good idea, but generally i'd say it's something that has passed you by.

Neither of my parents watch Star Trek, and I don't know if they ever have, so it wasn't anything which was on when I was younger. Also, I didn't hang around with anyone at school who was a fan, so didn't have the need to watch it in order to keep up with conversations; the closest I got was repeatedly watching and memorising Red Dwarf! It seems there is so much Star Trek around that it would take years to watch all of the various incarnations, from Shatner to Stewart. One of these days…

On more current events, I'm a quarter of the way through the fourth series of The Wire and, when I don't have enough time for a full episode, and watching the second series of Fawlty Towers. Both are brilliant in their very different ways, and amongst the best TV shows ever made.
keirarts and trebor8273 like this.

Likewise. I've watched a few of the films, they're ok. I prefer the new J.J.Abrams ones.
