I take it you are flicking between box sets, Treb. I trust you haven't watched all the ones in full you've mentioned up to now.

Doomwatch (1970)

Finally the series goes out on location with three excellent episodes - The Devil's Sweets, The Red Sky and Train and De-Train.

Taking in perils like subliminal advertising (Far better than it sounds), sensory damage on the Cornish coast due to jet engine testing and pesticide destruction of wildlife. This first series has really upped it's game in it's second half and is now much anticipated viewing for me. Roll on this evening.

Just as good as a remember from my childhood. Network have done a amazing job of the restoration the picture quality on the blu rays is phenomenal . Fast paced, great acting and story's with lots of familiar faces from the 70s and 80s British Tv. Also each season comes very a rather interesting book on the season in question.

Doomwatch - The Battery People (1970)

In a way this episode which turned out to be rather sinister reminded me a little of the 1972 film.

With an outcome which was rather creepy, the story involved the Doomwatch team investigating a fish farm in North Wales which it turns out is producing boneless fish due to chemical agents in the water. Come the end it wasn't just fish which had no bones. Nicely acted with good location work and vomit inducing sequences of battery chickens not to mention cock fighting, this episode shows why the series holds a BBFC 15 certificate.

This series is just getting better and better.

Just watched SUPERGIRL 'Worlds Finest'.

Supergirl joins forces with The Flash to take down Live Wire and Silver Banshee.
Good episode with some nice 'buddy' team up moments.

Yep great episode , I didn't like the show to begining with but more I watched the better it got, think that's down to the likeable charcters and it being fun something I can't say about man of steel or batman vs superman.

Really should give Martian man hunter his own show,

Yeah, Martian Manhunter is great.
I only have a couple of episodes to watch and season 1 is complete. It has been a fun ride and I'm so glad it's been picked up for a second season.
