Has anyone seen the tv series and what are you're thoughts on it?
I thought it was on par with the two films, which I really like. It's possibly even better.

It is good don't get me wrong, in fact it's very good, but it is just a soap opera about feuding families, no different to the Ewings and the Barnes in Dallas, with added gore though.

I've seen trailers and plenty of promotional stuff but it's something that has never grabbed me in a way where I've thought "I want to watch this".

Meanwhile in other tv news, Corrie is getting another episode bringing it to 6 per week.
Back when Corrie and Eastenders were on twice a week and on different nights there was plenty of drama and it was essential viewing but now it's all just spread way too thin! I presume they'll be having 2 episodes on one night?

And in regards to GoT being a soap opera, yes it is, but there is nothing wrong with that. Back in the day Dallas was king of the TV and currently GoT is probably one of the most talked about shows out there. I must admit that I know people who were initially put off by it but gave it a chance and now love it. It's a tough egg to crack but one which has rich rewards.

Trekkies rejoice (if you have Netflix that is). All of the series have been added to Netflix today, TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise and... The Animated Series.

I currently enjoying my revival of TNG on blu-ray (which looks fantastic) and i'm midway through Season 5. I can't wait to start DS9 and Voyager again.

So, Nikita, Alias, both or none? On the surface they seem to be very similar shows. Which should i watch?

Alias definitely. See how JJ Abrams started off. It's a brilliant series, lots of action and very globe trotting, gripping with good villains and Jennifer Garner is excellent as Sydney the heroine although by the later series it's more of an ensemble cast.

Garner also sports some very fetching costumes as well. The sequence where she struts in black lingerie to AC/DC's Back in Black was rather memorable.

Plus of course it was the series that made Bradley Cooper a star which i'm sure all the ladies will appreciate as much as i do Garner.

After Buffy and Angel it was the first series i started buying on dvd back in it's formative years.

Finished season 5 of True Blood. watching season 8 of supernatural while not as good as the earlier seasons its improvement over 7 , also watching season 1 of Fringe, forgot how good this show was but of course the highlight of the show is John Noble who's a joy to watch and very funny as Walter Bishop. with getting Angel today and all this talk of Buffy think its about time i revist both
