Batman

Fantastic OTT fun the gives a whole new meaning to the word camp, but at times its quite unsettling with Romero's creepy looking joker because of his reluctance to shave his mustache and frank gorshin is fantastic as the riddler who is truly quite chilling at times and of course let's not forget Adam West who is Batman for whole generation of people and for me introduced me to the world of comic's

There are so many episodes in the box set that it's going to keep me going for months! I've only watched disc one so far, although that's already 12 episodes
I can't believe how good Burt Ward is at delivering those ridiculous lines without laughing, as an adult I have a whole new-found respect for Robin.

I'm a little late to the party, but the bluray came out yesterday of Stephen King and JJ Abrams 11.22.63 and since it was only £12.99 I picked it up on a blind buy and started watching it last night!

Holy Cow! It's gripping stuff so far, I don't know how the rest of the series pans out but 2 episodes in and I'm hooked. The first episode is an almost feature length 80 minutes but it flies by, setting up the 'rabbit hole' as they call it and laying down the rules and in the second episode things start going wrong very quickly.
I actually can't wait to get out of work and watch more episodes!

I found it went a little flat towards the middle but it picks back up greatly for the last few episodes.

I thought that too as i began watching my boxset, Robin is actually very entertaining in the 60's series, whereas i normally find him to be an irritation.

Wait till you get to season 3.....

Robin, looking at Batgirl: "You know something, Batman?"
Batman: "What's that, Robin?"
Robin: "She looks very pretty when she's asleep."
Batman: "I thought you might eventually notice that. That single statement indicates to me the first oncoming thrust of manhood, old chum."

Been revisiting Absolutely.
Very silly comedy series which ran on Channel 4 1989 - 1993. Recently revived on radio.

Just finished pilot episode of Lois and Clark the new adventures of Superman. OK its cheesy and corny in places and the special effects haven't aged well at all(not that they were great to start with). But its all very enjoyable with great chemistry between Cain and Hatcher, for me still the best Lois Lane and for me even though its a TV series and it's more about Lois a and Clark than Superman its miles ahead of man steel.

Enjoyed it so much ordered the other 3 seasons and the orginal B&W series

I've just done a tot-up and figured out that i've got about 300 episodes of unwatched tv series to watch! Nearly half that is unwatched x-files, but i've got a silly number of things to finish off with 4, 6 or 10 episodes and then a load more i haven't even started yet. I also want to start re-watching my Sharpe collection, Harper's Island and Tales of the Golden Monkey, so that's about another 50 episodes of viewing!

I'm going to struggle to get some films in.

Ooh, i forgot my complete Invaders series 1&2. That's another 40 or so episodes.
