Watched the history behind now that's what I call music, I found it interesting for the odd fact that you learnt, like Maddona has never appeared on any of them, and it was because off Madonna that how separate charts become about like one for mixed albums sales and another for artist sales etc, because she wasn't happy at being kept off the no one album charts due to now that what I called music sales, so kicked up a fuss and that how separate chart sales become about.

Watched that Bowie: Five Years thing at the weekend. Thought it was a very well put together doc. I liked how they used interview sound clips of Bowie to sound like narration. Loved the contributions of ridiculously upbeat Carlos Alomar playing the funky riffs. Wanna get a copy of the Young Americans album now (and a bright blue suit) . . .

Young Americans is my favourite DB album. "Fascination" is the choicest cut imho. He looked pretty nutted in a lot of the footage in that documentary.

Season 4 of Arrested Development. Stated off a bit slow and it's not as dense or as fast-paced as the first 3 seasons but it's still absolutely fantastic and funnier than anything I've seen in years. I suspect the earlier episodes of the season will work better on a rewatch due to the format of this season. I have never seen a more ambitious and audaciously plotted piece of tv ever.

Indeed, I have the CD/DVD of YA and have never heard it sound better. Though the dvd is incomplete (Copyright?), all the footage (alas slightly fuzzier) is on Youtube.

The interview is priceless.
