Jonathan Creek Xmas Special. I really like the Xmas specials they do of this show but I've never got into the series in general. This year's called Daemons Roost was really good as Creek and the still gorgeous Sarah Alexander end up hiding out in a recently deceased horror movie directors creepy old mansion and inadvertently get caught up in a mystery. Brilliant stuff.

I found it more muddled and messy than most of his previous outings but enjoyed it all the same. I loved the gothic atmosphere to some of the proceedings too.

Four. Caroline Quentin (3 seasons and a special), Julia Sawalha (1 season and 1 special), Sheridan Smith (3 specials) and now Sarah Alexander (1 half-series and now 2 specials).

I hope its better than the last series, that was absolutely dire.

A fine selection of dramatic and comedic acting talent, and probably something for every heterosexual man's (and gay or bisexual women's) aesthetic choice. Fine casting!

Downton Abbey has now come to an end following the 90 minute special which amazingly as i had no idea what happened, came to a close on New Years Eve 1925 and their chimes went off a mere minute before ours did.

Oh and if anyone's interested, it's easily the best tv i've seen all year. Highly recommended.
