I've started watching the League of Gentlemen. Watching this when it first came on i simply didn't appreciate it and thought it was utter nonsense. Looking at it now is a different kettle of fish. Between them, Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemperton and Mark Gattis play goodness knows how many characters in a sitcom/sketch show hybrid set in the fictional town of Royston Vasey. League stems from a similar place as David Walliams Little Britain, however League has an altogether darker heart and its three co-stars draw heavily on their clear affection for the horror genre, as such this is a program that shouldn't really have worked, yet somehow Edward and Tubbs went on to find there audience and see three series and a feature follow their humble beginings. I'v just finished the first series and I'm looking forward to catching up.

There is a far wackier plot line being played out in real life which is unfortunate for the show I guess.
I did say there was an element of 'life imitating art', or perhaps it's the other way round, but for screenwriters to keep up with current events in Washington DC would be a monumental task and one which could seem barely plausible!

I did, very much. I'm now watching Orange Is the New Black, but will probably watch the second series of Inside No. 9 intermittently.

Re-watching Hello Ladies severly underrated, Stephen Merchant really nails it and with no help from Mr Gervais...unfortunately it does not look like its getting a second series after the this and the film, a real shame...

Last nights Count Arthur Strong was easily the funniest yet of the TV stuff he's done. After an accident the Count thinks he is a policeman ...hilarity ensues in an episode that reminded more of the peerless radio show.

Finished season one of Buffy and just watched the final episode of American Gods, another great episode which battle lines are drawed and we find out who Mr Wednesday is, but it's really been in obvious since the first epiosde.

So with season 2 of preacher starting next week, time too revisit the first season.

I am really looking forward to the new series of Preacher. I loved the first one.

I have given up on American Gods, it looks amazing but they keep forgetting to move the plot along from week to week.
