Finished season one of Murder She Wrote. Easy program to wind down too after work, also worth watching just to see what famous faces are guest starring this week, don't know how true it is but the show got so many familiar names because of Angela Lansbury who she was friends with many of the guest stars.

Although I used to watch it, I don't remember the structure of the programme

Is it the kind of thing where you (the viewer) are playing detective, and trying to work out the identity of the murderer, or is it more like 'Columbo', where the crime is shown in full at the start of the episode, and then you (the viewer) are watching the skill of the detective as he/she works things out?

If 'Murder She Wrote' is the former, how well are you doing catching the criminal, and how many innocents have you sent to death row?

Jessica is usually visiting friends or on holiday and someone gets murdered, and she, a crime novelist, solves the case rather than the police!

My mum used to watch it all the time when I was a kid, I used to joke about not wanting to be friends with Jessica Fletcher because she's cursed!
Why she was never a suspect is beyond me!
