I got bored of Blue Planet II as well, the only interesting bit in episode one was the whales hunting the herrings.

I'm not bothering with Blue Planet II tonight as minute microbes that look like aliens in the depths of the ocean bore me to death.

Plus the first episode annoyed me with all it's perhaps / possibly and maybe scenarios.
I've seen the first two episodes on the new Ultra HD iPlayer. It's amazing footage, especially in 4K, and the lengths to which the series has gone to further our understanding of the planet on which we live is remarkable.

Although it is sometimes little to slow burning, I enjoyed the first two seasons of Fear the Walking Dead and look forward to watching the third season in due course. It's not as intense as its more well-known counterpart, but I guess, as it is set on a different part of the American continent, that's part of the point.

Episodes two and three were certainly an improvement on the opener. It created a decent sense of scale with the riots / attacks in LA.

Recently finished re-watching The League of Gentlemen and Psychoville, which made for some nice viewing around the Halloween period between all the film watching.

Currently I'm 4 episodes in to the second series of Stranger Things and am really enjoying it so far.
