Amongst its many blemishes ... the lauding of a certain film from 87

Hold on ... they're talking about The Haunting. Let's see what they say ....

Demon House 2018.

The Ammons House in Indiana that sparked a mass hysteria in 2014 and short clips on ghost programmes. Zak Bagans from Ghost Adventures bought the house in order to investigate it with help of his team and witnesses who allegedly seen the activity.

What film from 87?

From my guestimate there was probably more than one film made in 87.

Looking forward to Roth's new film The House with the Clock in it's Walls. From what i hear Roth is the heir apparent to Burton in the Weird Gothic Beetlejuicey stakes.

Thought i might pick it up to watch this weekend.

The Lost Boys lol...
To be fair, I don’t think that the main audience for the show is the horror connoisseur.

I'm still intrigued to see what you make of his Death Wish remake Dem.

Evident based on the lauding of The Lost Boys!

I finished the 11th season of The Simpsons last night.

I started it in early November last year. It's been a real chore to get through. People said the quality dipped after the tenth series and boy were they right. It just seemed to be outlandish story after outlandish story with the series original (well kind of, for a cartoon) down to earth brilliance replaced with stuff like Homer becoming a missionary on a tropical island.

I doubt i'll be buying series 12.

What did you think of the episode 'Alone Again, Natura-Diddly? I remember being quite shocked and moved when it was broadcast and still find it very well written and thoughtful TV.

Probably the best of the series. It stood out as very melancholy (for a Simpsons episode). It also felt a bit rushed.
