The Professionals "Where The Jungle Ends" (S1, Ep3)

Del Henney rears his head in this, playing a mercenary in the pay of Geoffrey Palmer. If that's nae quite enough to make you rush out and buy the BDs post haste ..... there's also some spiffing shouting from Jackson, and some wildly SEVENTIES morality-that-wouldn't-blah blah.

I've started re-watching some Game of Thrones episodes so it's fresh in my mind when the final series comes on. Decided not to go from the beginning because I've seen the first few season multiple times so I'm watching season 5, 6 and 7 as I've only seen them once when they aired. Also, I wouldn't have time to watch 67 episodes! 27 is much more managable

The Sweeney: Stoppo Driver. Billy Murray, best known as The Bill's infamous bent copper DS Don Beech, guest stars in this great episode of the gritty 70s cop show as a new Flying Squad officer who's forced into helping to commit a robbery when the villains kidnap his new wife. Yeah, that's a likely story, Don...

Alan Partridge is back, still as inept as before. Love it

I also watched it and thought it was great – it's something I'll probably rewatch tomorrow.

Saw Partridge and the new one off Burnistoun. both very good hahahaha etc.

Picked up Network's "best of" the first series of The Tube ... which is an extreme hoot. Ah, the Eighties (cue Killing Joke) ... how 30 years ago they were

So far ... candid "interviews" . Suggestions that guests eat dead rats and a plea to those watching to kill themselves . Of course, we didn't just follow like lemmings what we were told by a machine, probably because we had a sense of humor. All at tea time. I look forward to seeing Twisted Sister etc etc. Musical highlights .... Simple Minds on speed (it seemed, romping version of New Gold Dream) ... Jam ripping through 2 songs in under 5 minutes and Eric Burdon and Alf (not the firking Alien, Moyet) duelling on House Of The Rising Sun.

More to come!!!

Excuse ad.

It's edited

It removed the hilarious rant from Dee Snider when he takes his make-up off in an attempt to get the audience to sing '...I Like It', just a little bit louder

Still retains the jam with Lemmy and Brian Robertson tho
