Smallville: Season 7.

After the dam broke in the previous season, Lionel is presumed missing, but someone is keeping him prisoner for somebody else. Lex believes he was saved by a angel but turns out it was no angel but Kara, Kal-El's cousin. Lana has started a foundation to help those effected by the meteor showers bit may also have other agendas after returning from the grave. Lois is given a job at the Daily Planet across from her cousin Chloe as the new editor believes she has potential and a little rivalry is always good. Chloe believes a doctor can help cure the people who have been affected by meteor showers and thinks he can help her. Clark tries to teach Kara how to blend in but the Martian Hunter warns him not to trust her. A secret society formed to protect the traveler and a way to control him has Lex curious and goes to find the answers which leads him the Fortress which it is destroyed trapping Lex and Clark.

This was a exciting season only because Laura Vandervoort makes her mark as Kara, which starts off as a laugh with her training that we saw with Clark in the earlier seasons. Dean Cain makes a appearance as a doctor who can cure people but has other methods on his mind and Sam Jones III returns in a episode as Clark friend Pete who may be hiding his own secret. Michael Rosenbaum played the character Lex well even though in the films Lex wanted to destroy his enemy here he control and James Marsters returns as the computer Brainiac who seems more homicidal than ever .

Wicked Science: Koala in the Mist. Garth lopes off with Elizabeth's shrink ray solely to make a dessert larger because he can't afford anything else, only for it to end up in Jack's hands - and soon there's a giant Koala bear in the woods next to the school... This was another really good episode, with lots of surprises and laughs. Jack is now essentially becoming the primary antagonist of season 2, basically threatening both Toby and Elizabeth at the end of the episode. Toby initially blames Elizabeth for the chaos, only to feel (rightfully!) guilty when he realises it was Jack all along. Elizabeth lets him off with a flirty "Maybe you can make it up to me sometime".

Smallvile: Season 8.

After the Fortress collapsed, Lex is presumed missing and dead, Tess Mercer new CEO of Lucthorcorp and new boss of the daily planet but does she know more than she is letting on about those around her. Clark has decided to take the job at the planet as a reporter but Jimmy has snapped a photo of Clark saving Lois and is now known as the red-blue blur. Lana has returned but she is not the same as she has changed her physique. Oliver Queen seems to take things further with the Luthors and may go beyond the line of no return. EMT Davis Bloom seems to be the first medic at accidents, is he lucky to be there or isn't coincidence but what ties him with Clark and Chloe? How did the superbeing Doomsday arrive on earth from Krypton

This season seems to get darker with the tone of more violence and more blood being shed even though the second episode opens very explosive and more meteor infected people appear that shows there abilities and those trying to control them. Aside from having that dark tone some of the episodes still have the funny side when one character wakes up as someone else and trying to walk in heels and Oliver seems quick with the snappy comebacks.

Smallville: Season 9.

Major Zod is on earth with his followers but they are powerless, are they here to rule of the Earth or are they here to help Clark and can Tess be trusted as Allie to Zod or to Clark. Lois has returned three weeks after putting on the Legion ring and has seen the future of what it will become and can anyone stop or alter the future. Clark, Green Arrow and Watchtower come across a old vigilante group the Justice Society of America, can they help Watchtower become what they were. A secret government agency called Checkmate seem to be recruiting people with superpowers and who's side is Martian Hunter John Jones on?

This was a decent season to follow up on the previous, Callum Blue appears as Zod who seems to be a good guy hidden underneath a viscous person and plays a good part almost as good as Terrence Stamp. Julian Sands appears in a episode as earth bound Jor-El even though he has a small appearance his acting makes things more sentimental. Pam Grier appears in some episodes as the leader of Checkmate who seems to be very cold and ruthless to get what she wants and Micheal McKean appears with Annette O'Toole who return to Smallville both with different reasons.
