Sabrina The Teenage Witch

This is The Melissa Joan Hart version which aired in the 90's and this was a favorite of mine growing up and I picked up the entire series on sale. Unfortunately the DVD's didn't not contain the songs used when shown on TV, just some generic replacement.

Season's 1-3
These were the classic episodes that I loved, cheesy but fun, Salem The Cat is the best character during the series. It also had the classic into song and opening credits.

Season 4

This was the start of some more serious season long storylines especially the love triangle between Sabrina, Harvey & Josh. Valerie left the series and her replacement wasn't as entertaining. Good episodes but you could sense the changes. There was also a Theme Song and Intro change.

Season 5

Things were different here, obviously Sabrina couldn't stay at School forever so she was off to College, wasn't as bad as I remembered but it isn't the same. Had a good Theme Song though.

Season 6

Yeah this isn't good anymore, you could see the writing on the wall on this show.

Season 7

What on Earth was this? my God, this was not the show I enjoyed watch in it's early years, most of the original cast had gone, Sabrina got a job and got engaged, luckily she married the person, fans wanted but this was unwatchable.

Still worth the investment for the first 3 Seasons and Season 4 is very watchable also but beyond that...

Airwolf Season 2.

Sweet Britches: Hawke gets a call about a friend disappearing in a small town that's controlled by a corrupt sheriff, Hawke is falsely arrested and released in to 80.000 acre to be hunted, A young female patrol officer Caitlin O' Shaughnessy has a run in with the sheriff and may cause problems for Hawke and Dom.

Firestorm: Eddie, a old buddy of Dom and a drunk starts talking about seeing U.F.O. lights, one night Dom starts seeing them too and looks into it with Hawke and finds a compound run by a renegade general planning a nuclear strike.

Moffett's Ghost: The Firm asks Hawke to shuttle a researcher and diplomat Dr. Roger Burton to Russia for a meeting since Airwolf can go under the radar undetected. Problems arise after a virus is detected within Airwolf after it's late creator implanted it that can destroy the Helicopter and The Firm.

The Truth About Holly: Hawke and Dom rescue Dom's niece from her abusive partner who hasn't gave up on her and sends in his goons, Caitlin re-appears looking for a job at Santini Air, while at a movie set accidents begin to happen around Holly and force the duo to confront the boyfriend.

The Hunted: Carter Anderson III enlists the help of Santini AIr believing he is a target of a hit, when things get out of control Hawke approaches him and Carter tells him he knows about Archangel, The Firm and Airwolf. Caitlin agrees to fly Carter and let Hawke interven in Airwolf unaware her new boyfriend may be the assassin.

Sins Of The Past: Dom returns to his hometown after his daughter dies of a drug overdose, on returning to California Dom is arrested for the murder of his ex wife, Hawke returns to the island and starts investigating leading to a Casino owner who may know more than he is letting on.

Fallen Angel: Hawke and Dom are injured in a flying stunt unaware Archangel has been kidnapped and tortured by a rival agents wjho try a brainwashing technigue for Archangel to kill The Firms top leader Zeus.

HX-1: A helicopter protoype that may be arival to Airwolf is stolen and Hawke believes his brother may be involved.

This is the start of many episodes of season 2 and seems to have updated from voice calls to video calls within Airwolf and new programme that shows the targets aimed at Airwolf, the programmes so far are enjoyable and seem to re-use footage from the previous episodes.

Airwolf Season 2 (cont)

Flight #093 Is MIssing: Caitlin plans to fly home for her sister's wedding, however the flight is hijacked and crashed into the sea. When search and rescue can't find the location, Hawke and Dom decide to use Airwolf, however the hijackers have a boat on the surface to fend off rescuers.

Once A Hero: Hawke learns his his brother may be held in a P.O.W. csmp in Laos and forms a rescue mission, when there the team is betrayed and they are captured, can the one that betrayed him redeem himself.

Random Target: While shooting for a film a mobster is hiding out and is seen, when a friend is killed for the tape, Dom and Hawke go looking for answers and revenge.

Condemned: Hawke and Caitlin travel to a remote island facility where a bioligical plague is being tested, unfortunately it was released, killing everyone, matters change when a Russian submarine appears to find a cure, can they work together to stop the plague going further.

The American Dream: A former Vietnamese warlord terrorises a group of Asian immigrants one of who is a friend of Hawke, who uses Airwolf to help them make a stand against their enemy.

Inn At The End Of The Road: Terrorist steal a computer prototype called L.O.K.I that can turn any aircraft into a fighting machine and The Firm want it to be top priority to be recovered. In the hills they kidnap a doctor who can fly who runs into Hawke and Dom with Airwolf and helps them find the terrorist, Hawke is injured and the doctor takes the helm to fly Airwolf with Dom's help.

Santini's Millions: Dom is using Airwolf to transport a human organ, on the way he helps a pilot who developed engine troubles Carl Barron who is a billionaire. After refusing to accept a bribe that Barron must rech his destination first and Dom giving him a piece of his mind, Barron is killed in his office and changed his will so that DOm inherits everything, Barron's employees fell betrayed.

Prisoner of Yesterday: A revolutionary breaks her father out of a prison after being refused medical help, she has her followers kidnap the doctor who is on a fishing trip with Hawke. Archangel tells Hawke not to use Airwolf in anything political.

Natural Born: A young pilot who's uncle is killed gets a job at Santini Air while trying to get revenge on the guy's who killed his guardian and used his airline for drug smuggling. Kevin Hides things from his new friends which results in a loss of a contract. Hawke persuades Kevin to open up to them before he looses more than his friends.

Out Of The Sky: Hawke and Dom are hired to fly a space ship prop for a concert, when the singer is kidnapped by her ex husband and a look a like is brought in, the ex husband plans to kill the singer for her money to clear gambling debts, Hawke and Dom try to find the singer before it is too late.

Dambreakers: Terrorist cell takes refuge in a spiritual retreat they plan to destroy a hydro-electric facility and invite a news reporter, they are kidnapped and Hawke tries to out think them and get word to Dom and Caitlin that they are in trouble and stop the dam from being destroyed and flooding the area.

Severence Pay: A mole in The Firm has leaked classified information, a analyst is suspected after his friend dies, can The Firm recover the information and find the culprit before it goes into the wrong hands and enemies.

Eruption: Hawke and Dom are forced to land in area with a dormant volcano that is ready to erupt and leaders are not willing to believe or leave the area.

Short Walk To Freedom: Caitlin is in South America with kids looking at ancient ruins when they are taken hostage.

Even though the show is still good, Jan-Michael Vincent still had his problems with his addictions that a stuntman was killed in the episode Natural Born which caused Vincent to depression as he arrived on the set drunk and wasn't able to fly during the sequence in which the tragedy happened and there is more noticable goofs that appeared which seems funny that the makers didn't try to hide.

I only saw red dwarf for first time ever this year, I’ve seen about half of them, need to revisit and finish off,
My son kinda related to Craig Charles, it’s his aunties uncle.

Some TV shows I've recently watched:

Making a Murderer: Season 2 – I won't see too much about this case there are people who want to watch it and aren't aware of what has happened to the people involved. I found some aspects of the first season, particularly Brendan Dassey's interrogation, troubling and the questions raised in this season have done nothing to alleviate those feelings. I found it compelling viewing and wish I saw it when it was first put on to Netflix.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season 14 – although there are several funny moments throughout this season, I can't help but feel it's a show which is a few years past its peak and would be better off being cancelled before it becomes dull and where the laughs and humorous set is too infrequent for it show which is guaranteed to be funny and satirically irreverent.

The Walking Dead: Season Eight – the season leading to 'all out war' between Rick and Negan has a really interesting non-linear narrative which makes it a bit more demanding of your attention than previous seasons. There are moments of high emotion, the times when you feel your heart sinking or even saying "no!" at the TV!

Staged – I watched this when it was first on iPlayer and they now have longer episodes on Netflix. I think it works better in the long form because the interactions between all the 'characters' (with Martin Sheen and David Tennant playing exaggerated versions of themselves) carry more weight and become even funnier when they are more fully developed and more time is spent on the various plot threads.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 7 – this is a bit like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia because the first few seasons were often laugh-out-loud funny, but the past couple of seasons have become a bit flat and occasionally grating, with the humour becoming less frequent and far from guaranteed.

Cobra Kai – another show I wish I'd watched long ago. It's brilliant how they have managed to get the principal actors from the Karate Kid films to appear in this TV show and basically repeat the Karate Kid montages and lessons. There are times when it has a clichéd soap opera feel, but this isn't something which makes it less watchable because it's something I found very easy to binge watch and very difficult to stop watching late at night. Bring on season three!

Ratched – this was suggested by the Netflix algorithm after Cobra Kai finished, and the programming getting as me very well because the show, developed by the man behind American Horror Story, is to One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest what Bates Motel is to Psycho. Sarah Paulson is a terrific actor and this has the same vibe and feel as American Horror Story. I was sad when it finished and am eagerly anticipating the next season.

Des – I watched the three episodes of this last night without any knowledge of Dennis Nilsen's life and crimes. It's an engrossing and occasionally blackly comic piece of television because the things which Nielsen says are so outrageous and blackly humorous they are both disturbing and funny. It's the sort of thing which made me laugh and then think 'Hang on a minute, that's not really funny', feeling a bit guilty for my initial reaction. I want to watch the David Tennant-narrated documentary on Nilsen because I've seen a little bit which gave me an even greater appreciation of how good Tennant's portrayal of the serial killer is.

Airwolf: Season 3.

I wont put down the episodes for this as I wasn't paying much attention to it, some of the episodes were enjoyable, Airwolf II, Fortune Teller, A Child Shall Lead, Annie Oakley were my favorite episodes but seems like most of the episodes seem to be the same but with different characters. I'm sure in A Child Shall Lead the helicopter used in HX-1 was the same, you can tell they were working round when Jan-Michael Vincent was clear headed.
