Rewatched MPD Psycho (Film 2000 Japan dvd set)
Still don't know why some of the gore is "fuzzed" out in early epsiodes, but not in the later ones. A rather bonkers take on Fallen (with the obligatory schoolgirls thrown in cough), this is Miike at his most obtuse, only topped by Gozu imho.

Some of my favourite TV shows have come to an end, so at the moment I'm left with the great True Detective and the equally good The Following.

The girl MTDS, aged 8, has been watching a kids comedy called "iCarly" which is one of the most morally wonky things I have seen in an age. It's xenophobic, pro violence and theft and pro military. Michelle Obama even appears in one show making jokes and dancing with the cast. I can not figure out if I loathe it or really enjoy it...

I recently watched the first season of White Collar, which I really enjoyed, and have nearly finished the second season of Futurama, which strangely includes the first four episodes from season three (at least according to the IMDB, Miso and Trackd).

Next up: From Dusk Till Dawn.

Just finished watching the second season of Banshee which was awesome and has now become one of my favourite tv shows. If you love action movies then this show should be watched.

Watched the first episode of Fargo last night. I was dubious about the idea of adapting the film but so far so good! Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman are great in the lead roles and there's a perfect mix of violence and dark humour throughout. Looking forward to seeing where they take this.

Anyone else see this?

I set the series to record and will probably watch it all in one go when it's finished.
