Martha Lane Fox's Dimbleby lecture on the internet.

Thought provoking, interesting and entertaining.

I'm probably 5 years behind everyone else here but I just found Archer.

It makes me laugh my ring off!! Awesome! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfQkIuMQBkc

My wife hates it which proves she has no taste. Available on Netflix and on DVD and Blu Ray although Season 1 has no UK blu release, only DVD.

Archer is one of the funniest TV shows around – completely mental and eminently quote worthy.

Finally given up on Twin Peaks at the start of the second series, possibly one of the most overrated things I've seen.

Just watching some episodes of The Ray Bradbury theater via the old YouTube, certainly worth looking up.

Shame, the episode where the killer is revealed and the very last episode, both directed by Lynch are some of the best stuff the director as done IMO. But different strokes n all that if you're not enjoying it.☺

I think the problem may be watching an episode or two a day. It is too repetitive with repeated plot lines of infidelity across multiple characters. It feels tired before it even gets going. One of the other problems is the music irritates the f*ck out of me. I may leave it a few weeks and try an episode per week. I'd prefer an Andy and Lucy spin off if I'm honest, they are my favourite thing in the show.

ALTERNATE POINT OF VIEW.

Not been posting a lot because I'm getting stuck in to Twin Peaks. While its imperfect It set the groundwork for a lot of subsequent American TV with high production values, occasional near the knuckle sex and violence as well as plenty of hidden details that invite a re-watch.

It's imperfect, The killer is revealed too early and some of the cast are adrift in season 2. The mike/nadine plot is a prime example, as is the James hurley femme fatale story line. The central Wyndham Earle story is still good however.

Interesting extras that compliment the show well including a deleted scene from early in the series that explains a lot about Audrey Hornes character motivation. Personally I'm still loving it, maybe the difference in opinion is down to remembering the show airing originally and it being unlike anything else out there at the time.

Not much more to go then back to regular old films again!

The Owl Service - Wyrd England (well, Wales...) teen drama revolving around mysterious dinner plates and a village legend steeped in magic, and chock full of folklore and strange goings on. Recommended.

Currently re-visiting Nigel Kneale's 1970s series 'Beasts'.
